Liz Truss: West is in ‘serious trouble’ unless it gets rid of ‘appeasing’ left-wing governments

Former UK prime minister Liz Truss says the Western world is in “serious trouble” if it does not get rid of left-wing governments around the world. The United Kingdom has agreed to hand over the sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius. “This is a pattern of capitulation and appeasement that we have been seeing from left wing governments around the world,” Ms Truss said. “The sooner we get them out the better because otherwise, the West is in serious trouble.”
