Boy Golfer (1960)

C/U of a golf ball on a tee as a golf club comes into shot; C/U of Jack McConnell preparing to hit the ball at a golf club in Bournemouth, Dorset; M/S as he drives the ball while his wife, Margaret, watches. C/U as JM replaces his club and picks up a smaller set; M/S as we see him handing a small wooden club to his son, two and a half-year-old Andrew. Commentator says “...in his age-group, he’s unrivalled“. Andrew drives the ball. His father helps him put the club away and MM appears with the pushchair that Andrew climbs into and they all set off, JM pushing the golf trolley. JM hands the smaller set of clubs to Andrew to carry on his lap. When they reach the ball, Andrew jumps out of the pushchair; his father selects an iron for him
