The Ferryboat - a Scottish dance using Christmas music

Carolyn Hunt’s Scottish dance, “The Ferryboat“ was performed by the Lisbon-Telheiras SCD Group (aka Grupo de Dança Escocesa da ART) at a Christmas charity show in Benfica, Lisbon, on Sunday 2nd December 2012. The music is by Jim Lindsay and his Band, from their CD “Scottish Christmas Dance Party“. The original music is an 5x32 bar reel, which we cut down to 3x through for this performance. The Ferryboat was one of eight dances done by the group at the show. The dancers were a mixture of experienced people and comparative beginners.
