The theme of this round is “songs in a foreign language“. Japanese was, of course, the most obvious choice for me. I know people will expect something like that from me so I wanted to make something special instead - cover the song “brothers“ in the original language: Russian. This is actually the first time I did something in Russian. There are many reasons why it is the case. I don´t like my pronunciation so much, even if it is actually my mother tongue. Since I live in Germany for 14 years now I have accent which annoys me, especially because I can´t roll the “r“ like Russians do. I also was never fond of the language. The experience I had while doing this cover can be described with the word “interesting“. It was definitely worth my time and perhaps you will like this new side of my voice as well? By the way: I already did a cover of this song with the amazing AppLChan and other people who helped out in the chorus. I was not able to do that in this version, so you should probably check the other one out. It is very old, but still good, if I may say so.
