The hardware (Air Unit Ground Station) costs less than 50$ (all included) and can be found EVERYWHERE.
More supported cameras are added with functions such as motorised optical zoom, IRCUT and latency as low as 50ms. It supports MAVLINK1 or MAVLINK2 bidirectional telemetry which makes it a complete solution for a quadcopter or fixed wing/VTOL. It also has WFB-ng link preinstalled and this means it has serious long range capabilities.
Ground station:
We can now use any laptop to have a VRX system. The WFB-ng Linux system can run directly from the USB stick on any x86 laptop or desktop computer. Everything is running directly from the Linux USB stick. No installation needed! This makes the whole VRX system very portable.

The quadcopter is an XL8 iFlight regular 8” quadcopter.
I used Ardupilot, 4S2P Li-Ion battery.
Nothing new or fancy stuff, just the basic reliable hardware we all know.
