What makes this new chuck so Brilliant? Schunk released the THW3 chuck and it’s unlike any chuck we’ve used before. To start its quick change jaws transfer over from our previous THW Plus, and a new internal grease system makes for less maintenance and quicker set up times when machining. Also they’ve made improvements in clearance and weight reduction to allow for more efficient use. Upgrading to the THW3 Chuck on our SMX 3100 ST from DN Solutions was a no brainer. It’ll save us money and time while also looking really cool.
