Lost In Space Jupiter II Model

1/35 scale, eighteen inch diameter, Moebius kit with custom display stand, UV (black light) interior and fusion core lighting, gearbox motorized radar, crew figures ceiling beams and hull panel/port detailing. Interior painted in monochrome grey (a nod to the first season filmed in black & white of the TV series) with fluorescent, UV reactive paint for lighting effects. This allows any surface to be ’lit’. 50 X 5mm, 12V, UV, are hidden from view. Having two Moebius Jupiter IIs I wanted a low cost, easier, unique, alternative way to add lighting for the in flight spaceship. The second model will be built with legs deployed, landed, using the Moebius lighting kit with a color interior paint scheme. I made the stand arm using a 3/8 inch diameter, stainless steel, round tube that allowed the DC power adapter wiring to be hidden and 120 degrees of port-starboard tilt.
