Vinnufossen

The waterfall Vinnu, which is hidden in the Sunndal mountain, is often forgotten in the company of the more well-known Mardalsfossen. But we are talking about world class greatness here. The Vinnu waterfall ranks number five on the list of the biggest waterfalls in the world. It’s 860 meters beats Mardalsfossen’s 657 meters by 203 meters, making it Norway’s highest waterfall. But Vinnu waterfall is a modest waterfall. In contrast to Mardalsfossen’s freefall, it cascades down the mountain in four different plasses. This explains the difference in attention between the two waterfalls. I will fly Mardalsfossen this summer:)
