Audiences are invited to enter Lauschmann’s immersive, spellbinding world in two very special performances at the National Theatre in St Kilda.
Winner of the inaugural UK Margaret Tait Award for artists working with the moving image, Lauschmann creates a surround-theatre event where carpets fly through the air, pianos play themselves, and mechanical monkeys and mice make great music. The work was first commissioned by Creative Scotland, and comes to Melbourne as a special event to coincide with the Melbourne Art Fair 2012
