Armenia has reportedly withdrawn from the Russia-led Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), Reuters reported on February 23. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told France 24 that the Russia-dominated CSTO bloc and the treaty underpinning it had failed Armenia. Pashinyan added that Azerbaijan, Armenia’s two-time war opponent in the last three decades, is not following the necessary principles for a lasting peace treaty.
