GYRO STABILIZATION BMPCC | How good is it really?

It introduced a number of new features for all the cameras, the BMPCC 4K, the BMPCC 6K and the BMPCC 6K PRO. The most exciting was the inclusion of gyro stabilization for the camera. This means you can now use the gyro meta data to improve post stabilization. I wanted to test: Can the gyro stabilization replace a tripod? Can the gyro stabilization replace a gimbal? Is there a difference between the 4K and 6K Pro?
