Its shape reminded me of a pocket watch, and its uniqueness immediately caught my attention. After some research, I discovered that similar models date back to the early 20th century. The lighter is made of brass and covered with a beautiful blue patina that developed over decades, giving it a truly vintage charm. The seller shared that he found the lighter during the renovation of an old house he inherited. Recognizing its uniqueness, he decided not to throw it away but to put it up for auction. I knew right away that this rare piece deserved to be restored. The restoration process was challenging. The most difficult part was sanding and polishing the surface since deep corrosion pits had formed over time.
