Jaydee Amrita is a student of Tribal Fusion, Bharatanatyam, ATS and Odissi. She has been dancing for approximately 3 years. This years piece is a theatrical approach inspired by the Ancient Egyptian cult of the gods wives of Amun - an elite order of women based in Thebes who rivalled the power of Pharaoh and were even depicted as equal to the gods on wall reliefs and were granted a funerary temple within the temple of Karnak.
