Gallican Gypsies (1910)

Gallican gypsies. Spain. Opens w/ scene of music & dancing; outdoors. Woman in FG dances; holding large sheer scarf up in back of her while she spins around etc. Man behind plays accordion; woman plays tambourine & others clap hands. Tiny kids just watch. Next a young man does a dance; just as wild and energetic - lots of jumps and kicks. People standing behind get into it - young girls also dance wildly. The group of gypsies sitting on ground for a meal or snack - passing bread; food; an old woman w/ scarves tied on head pours tea(she looks like the stereotypical gypsy fortune teller). Big man w/ beard wearing some giant piece of jewellery round his neck; seems to be the head of family; waving arms; speaking; looks angry. Cute children - little boy in big hat.
