San Ul Lim - “개구장이“ (Gaegujangi) - Korean Fuzz Psych - 1979

SRB Records, 1979 // Here was a lucky $1 find. San Ul Lim is a Korean rock group known for being highly different from other Korean bands at the time. They used a lot of psychedelic fuzz guitar, coupled with echoey pop vocals. Their first three LPs seem to be well known in the psych collector’s world but this 1979 release, 못된 아이들 or Naughty Kids, seems to be pretty overlooked and undocumented online. Unfortunately, the liner notes and packaging are entirely in Korean, so I can’t reveal much more about this
