This is a real, classified meteorite that is offered in my store The NWA number (North West Africa) is the registered name of a meteorite found in the Sahara desert between Libya and Morocco. This means that this meteorite has been classified in a laboratory, submitted to the Meteoritical Bulletin and approved with a unique NWA number or name. You will find it in the database: The MC number is a temporary name I give to specimens prior to submitting them for classification. I film the specimens before cutting them to keep their appearance for the future. I have been dealing with meteorites (search, buy, sell) since 2001, and before that, for 4 years I was an active meteorite collector.
