OM NAMO NARAYANAYA = Worship the Divine In Hinduism, Vishnu acts as the guardian, protector and saviour of the world, his benevolence attracts the hearts of people to him. He is the god of love and mercy, he loves people and expects reciprocal love from them. Lord Narayana, also known as Vishnu, is one of the supreme gods of the Hindu pantheon. He is the God of protection and preservation and is believed to be the maintainer of the universe and its beings. He is one of the holy trinity of gods and is considered the physical manifestation of spiritual consciousness. He protects all living beings on earth and blesses the devotees with long life, peace, happiness and success. Goddess Lakshmi or Mahalakshmi is his divine consort. She is the goddess of wealth, fertility and good luck. It is said that she resides in the very heart of Narayana, and therefore the Lord always remains Lakshmi Narayana, the only form of the divine couple, endowing the devotees with all spiritual and material wealth.
