Everdrive GBA Mini vs EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition Power Consumption

Purpose of this Video is to test the power draw of the Everdrive GBA Mini vs the EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition. Another creator, makho, created a spreadsheet of power usage of both when testing in June 2021. Since 2 years passed, I wanted to see how they’d stack up. For the Test: GBA Model: AGB-001 Everdrive Tested: [will add link once YouTube verified] Firmware: w/ GBAOS at EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition: [will add link once YouTube verified] Firmware: All tests are at 3V. The sound is off for all tests. As seen in the video, sleep mode on Super Mario Advance 4 did not work. It would go to sleep and immediately wake. After the video, I deleted and re-added the ROM and deleted the sav file. The sleep mode still did not work. In it’s place, I used my Pokémon Emerald ROM Hack that includes a sleep mode, which did work. Super Mario Advance 4: Everdrive: 121mA EZ Flash: 112mA Sleep Mode: Everdrive: 43mA EZ Flash: 37mA Pokémon Emerald: Everdrive: 123mA EZ Flash: 114mA Tetris DX (on Goomba Emulator): Everdrive: 88mA EZ Flash: 87mA
