Tippity-Tap-Taps for Up-Ups

Timestamps are 0:50 for the hilarious foot shake and 1:13 for the purrs. And how funny is it that she starts both videos with a PRRBBTT to announce that she’s about to join me, lol. Everyone wants me to get her a little footstool so she can more easily jump up to my lap. And yes, maybe someday. But in the meantime, you can tell she’s trying to figure it out and solve the problem. And problem-solving is really good for cats. The experts say that giving them food puzzles as opposed to bowls of food is much more stimulating for them and they’ve been shown to actually prefer figuring out the food puzzle even when presented with a full bowl of food. They’re like any organism this way. We need challenges in order to improve and evolve and to have fun and feel accomplished, and also to not get lazy! So for now,
