Icy old school black metal from German one-0man band Nunatakr – suitably named after a rocky protrusion from a glacial ice field, these three tracks offer some exemplary meditative rawness. Caked in layers of dirty atmosphere that soaks like dying mist into the earth; harried by a belching, choking vocal that rasps and rakes over the splintering trance of the frigid riffs.
