I am also a Samurai Spirit Tourism Ambassador for the Tohoku Region The sword in Japan is not merely a weapon, it is a sublime piece of functional art, with deep spiritual and historical significance to the Japanese people. Just like Mount Fuji and Cherry Blossoms, the Japanese sword is an enduring symbol of Japan. It is my hope to share my love and passion for Japanese swords with all of you here on YouTube and make the Japanese sword accessible to the world by introducing the Japanese sword to new audiences from a Japanese perspective.
