Sweet Monte Cristo Sandwich 🥪 #montecristosandwich #sandwich #breakfast 🧈 Toast-Bread - 3 slices 🧈 Strawberry jam - 2 tbsp 🧈 Cheddar cheese - 4 slices 🧈 Ham - 2 slices 🧈 Eggs - 2 pc 🧈 Bread crumbs - 100 g 🧈 Butter - 30 g Cut off the edges of the bread. Spread a layer of jam ➡️ cheese ➡️ ham ➡️ cheese ➡️ jam ➡️ bread. Do the same for the second piece of bread. Whisk the eggs in a deep bowl, dip all sides of the bread in the egg. In another deep bowl, dip the toast in the bread crumbs. Heat a frying pan and melt the butter. Fry on all sides, be careful, the sandwich may fall apart. Add more butter for a crispy crust. To serve, cut diagonally across the sandwich.
