Anyway I don’t like that word. I much rather like to talk about teaching my young horse how to be brave. To overcome his/her innate flight instinct. Think, rather than react. The key is to be able to read your horse’s body language and to know precisely when to quit. This is a little moment of today’s session with Tara where I showed her for the first time the flag.
