Igumnov, Goldenweiser, Oistrakh, Oborin, Sofronitsky, Gilels, Flier, Feinberg - video
I’ve combined several videos from a documentary (link below) which show Russian artists receiving state honours. In order: Igumnov, Goldenweiser, Oistrakh, Myaskovsky, Oborin and Sofronitsky. Gilels and Flier are shown playing, and Feinberg teaching his students (including Merzhanov, and possibly Yemelyanova against the wall). I’ve added the music of Nina Yemelyanova playing Tchaikovsky’s Natha-Valse (which I’ve uploaded as a separate video).
