Maxim Sapozhkov (born November 15, 2000, Voronezh) is a Russian volleyball player, diagonal of the Dynamo club (Moscow) and the Russian national team. He is a graduate of the Academy of the Lokomotiv Club (Novosibirsk). He made his debut in the Russian championship in the 2021/22 season, while on loan at Samotlor, where he became the second scorer of the team; previously he played at the Bulgarian club Montana. After the 2022/23 season, on loan at the Italian club Verona, the club Modena was bought out for 150 thousand euros (12 million rubles). Sapozhkov is the tallest volleyball player in Russia, his height is 220 cm
