Austin Kendig: Kid Kart Feature at 61 Kartway, September 17, 2011

Delmar, Iowa -- In his first outing since a destroyed cylinder and piston prompted a complete rebuild of the top end of his new motor, Austin showed up at the track with low expectations. His tight power plant came to life midway through the feature, helping him chase down the leader, set the fast lap of the race, almost pull off another dramatic, last-lap victory in the kid kart class at 61 Kartway.
