This is a tool-assisted speedrun. For more information, see TAS originally published on 2009-04-06. Full completion of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Both this run and the short version () use a wobbling trick in order to make Link walk a bit faster. The execution of this maneuver requires the usage of a controller that allows the player to press Up Down simultaneously (such as, in this case, a modified Snes9x’s controller). The traveling-through-walls trick that is seen in the short version is not used. This run features an improvement of a little over 4 minutes.
