Nala & Scar - Trust in me, child

Wow, I hadn’t made an AMV in quite a while! I’m working on some long ones, but as always I’ve been too lazy to get them done :P However, after stumbling across this amazing fan song I couldn’t resist making a TLK video out of it! And because it’s fairly short, I managed to get it done within three days. And thanks to Sullabib for inspiring me to make this with her video which depicted Scar as “death“ and made me think of him as Discord when I saw this song ^^ And even if this one is one of the shortest AMVs I’ve done, it certainly was not the easiest. Took me a lot of masking and color matching to get this to look alright (Which is why I used some bad chroma keyer here. I’m sorry, but I was not masking if I could use it, even if badly!). Either way, I’m happy with how it turned out, overall. The ending annoys me a little but I ran out of ideas. By the way, this is a MLP fan made song; and Scar and Nala play Discord and Celestia. Discord has the power to tele transport, so that’s why Scar appears and disappears throughout the video. I thought it was a nice add to it. Story: Scar is a wizard who was banned to the Outlands after using his magic to change the Circle of Life, the natural course of things, which is forbidden. In the Pridelands, Nala, upon learning that her sister Kiara is sick and will most likely die because of it; she seeks Scar’s help against her best judgement, not willing to accept her sister’s death. Once in his lair he shows her the mirror of the future, which reveals what the destiny will be to those who look at it. When Nala does it, she sees Kiara dying in a nearby future. Scar has the power to change that, but of course he demands something from Nala as a payment - his condition being that he won’t tell what it is he wants until after she agrees to make a deal. So Nala has to choose between saving her sister but breaking the law and being in debt with Scar or following the Circle of life and letting her sister die - which for her, is not an option. Credits: Movies used: The lion king 1 and 2 (Disney) Some clips and backgrounds were taken from this amazing fan animation by Eduardo Quintana: Song made by Duo Cartoonist and sang by REV (By the way, your voice talent is beyond belief! Had I not known this is fan made, I would have thought de Lancie himself sang this!) The male voice over was taken from another video, belonging to the same people quoted above: Programs: Vegas Pro 14.0, After Effects CS6, Photoshop CS5 Scar masking at 0:20 belongs to SpiritQueen
