]Alms offering to the monks is one of the traditions that Buddhists have been practicing since the Buddhist era. In a big city like Bangkok, it’s very difficult to see such tradition so often. Alms offering to the monks by the river is also a traditional lifestyle of the villages living along the Chao Phraya River which nowadays can still be found in Koh Kret Island and Pak Kret city.
