Mikio Yahara 10th dan, (born 4 April 1947) is one of the most energetic Shotokan Karate practitioners to emerge from the JKA. He was dubbed “the best fighter of his generation“ by Masatoshi Nakayama. He is first and foremost a martial artist, having won the JKA Grand Championship. A supporter of reintroducing Karate to its Budo roots. Mikio Yahara is one of the most dynamic fighters to come out of the JKA. His unique fighting style made him a fan favorite.
