Namibia’s parliament has passed a law banning same-sex marriage. This move comes in the wake of a new wave of anti-gay laws in Africa, which was initiated by Uganda. The newly enacted law stipulates that marriages between two individuals of the same sex, conducted abroad, will not be recognized in Namibia.
