Dolphins and Orcas 0001

Here are a few cool shots of dolphins, seals and Orcas (killer whales) that Monique and I encountered this past year off Dana Point, CA. Monique was not too comfortable with the tiller yet so this was all shot with one hand as I was skippering the old Catalina 27 with the other. We actually did get some good wind just before we saw the Orcas. The folks you see in the other sailboat told us they just saw the killer whales “playing“ with a seal for lunch.
