Israeli police disperse Tel Aviv protest demanding end to settler attacks on Palestinians

“We came here to protest against the horrific pogrom committed by extremist settlers yesterday in the West Bank.” Israeli police dispersed a protest on Monday by dozens of Israelis in Tel Aviv who were demonstrating against Israeli settlers attacking various Palestinian towns in the West Bank on Sunday after two Israeli settlers were killed in Huwwara. During the raids on the Palestinian towns Israeli settlers burned scores of cars and homes, killed and stole livestock, and wounded nearly 300 Palestinians, while also killing one Palestinian man who had just returned from helping out with earthquake relief efforts in Turkey.
