Frédéric Chopin - Raindrop Prelude (Op. 28. No. 15)

Sheet music available!! Here is an arrangement that originally started as a duet, but I always had a feeling it would work out as a solo piece. Of course, Tárrega arranged this in the key of A, but I felt the original key of D-flat was possible. The guitar is tuned down a 1/2 step, which i’m really starting to enjoy! In this piece, the repeated notes represent rain drops, for the full story please check out this great :// In arranging this, it was the logical choice to use harmonics for the “rain drops“ as it both provides the delicate sound required, and has the huge bonus of sustaining notes while I shift positions.
