The bridge at :39 has not been identified, but the long span might be a Colorado River bridge between Arizona and California, or the Gila River. Most of the scenery is not identified but includes various desert views and what is probably a Navajo community at 3:52. At 4:10, the Elephant Feet Rock Formation is shown, on the Navajo Nation adjacent to U.S. Highway 160 about 1.5 miles north of Red Lake Trading Post. The bridge at 4:40 is probably the McPhaul Suspension Bridge, built in 1929 in Yuma County and spanning the Gila River. This film is part of the Periscope Film LLC archive, one of the largest historic military, transportation, and aviation stock footage collections in the USA. Entirely film backed, this material is available for licensing in 24p HD, 2k and 4k. For more information visit
