Da liegen schon mal die Nerven blank und der eine oder andere krasse Spruch rutscht einem raus, auch wenn man es eigentlich nicht so gemeint hat. Da heißt es erstmal kräftig durchatmen und runterkommen. Auch eine Entschuldigung an der einen oder anderen Stelle wäre durchaus angebracht. Schließlich ist Weihnachten das Fest der Liebe und streiten passt da gar nicht. Wie wir alle wissen, ist das manchmal einfacher gesagt, als getan. Aber eine ehrlich gemeinte Entschuldigung zeugt von Selbstreflektion und lässt Dich definitiv besser dastehen, als ein Grummelheimer. Und wenn Du nicht einfach nur „Entschuldigung“ sagen willst, kannst Du es ja in Gedichtform verpacken oder gesungen vortragen, oder es einfach nur laut in die Welt hinausschreien … ääh, wobei Letzeres allerdings doch nicht so toll ist. Nerves might get frayed, and a snarky comment might slip out, even if you didn’t mean it that way. The key is to take a deep breath and chill out. Offering an apology in the right place might not be a bad idea either. After all, Christmas is the season of love, and getting into arguments doesn’t really fit the vibe. As we all know, that’s sometimes easier said than done. But a heartfelt apology shows some self-reflection and definitely makes you look better than a grumpy person. And if you don’t just want to go with a plain old “sorry,“ you can spice it up with a poem, sing it, or just shout it out loud to the world... uh, although the last one might not be so cool.
