Mayon Volcano Update; New Eruption Occurs, Pyroclastic Flows Generated

On June 8th of 2023, the Mayon volcano erupted, creating a series of pyroclastic flows and lava avalanches which tumbled down its steep slopes. This brand new eruption followed several days of volcanic unrest, as magma was pushing the lava dome of the volcano upwards. This video will discuss what might happen next, and reminds people of the currently stated 6 kilometer exclusion zone in all directions around Mayon’s summit which could further expand in the next few hours, days, or weeks.
