Candied Daylight

Available on Itunes: Extnd Version Available on BandCamp: I am delighted to share ’Candied Daylight’, the first song off of my upcoming project, “Anatomy“ set to be released later this year. We began recording this song in the magical Studio 150 in Amsterdam and completed it in infamously mesmerizing city of New York. Without the incredible team of people that came together to make this sound a reality, this song would have been the mere flickers of stardust. Candied Daylight is the double-dutch chant heard from the windows of an open classroom window. It is the distant and dreamy siren that steals your concentration. It is in ode and longing for the magic of youth. Lyrics Rid me of my blues bring me chocolate in the morning, No day begins too sweetly after dancing in the ache Just wipe me from the corners of the mouth you spoke me out of (bring me) sweet things in the morning Tender are the days, I made wishes on a cake tightly shut my eyes and whispered to a flame All jellyfish and legs, all peanut butter prayer-ed Still wondering which days go where. Just a pocket figurine, Just a small thing to a pea when the world was a recital for my dreams All pirouettes and light, all polka dots and stripes unaware of how the day betrays the night… Rid me of my blues bring me chocolate in the morning, No day begins too sweetly after dancing in the ache Just wipe me from the corners of the mouth you spoke me out of (bring me) sweet things in the morning Rid me of my blues bring me chocolate in the morning, No day begins too sweetly after dancing in the ache Just wipe me from the corners of the mouth you spoke me out of (bring me) sweet things in the morning Tender are the days, I made wishes on a cake tightly shut my eyes and whispered to a flame All jellyfish and legs, all peanut butter prayer-ed Still wondering which days go where. Just a pocket figurine, Just a small thin to a pea when the world was a recital for my dreams All pirouettes and light, all polka dots and stripes unaware of how the day betrays the night… Rid me of my blues bring me chocolate in the morning, No day begins too sweetly after dancing in the ache Just wipe me from the corners of the mouth you spoke me out of (bring me) sweet things in the morning (*musical break) Rid me of my blues bring me chocolate in the morning, No day begins too sweetly after dancing in the ache Just wipe me from the corners of the mouth you spoke me out of (bring me) sweet things in the morning Rid me of my blues bring me chocolate in the morning, No day begins too sweetly after dancing in the ache Just wipe me from the corners of the mouth you spoke me out of (bring me) sweet things in the morning Honey bring me sweet things in the morning, Honey bring me sweet things in the morning.
