Prof Nick Maynard, Oxford Cancer Surgeon, speaks about his experience of working in Gaza with “medical aid for Palestine” (MAP). He talks about the horrific conditions in Palestine in December 2023/ Jan 2024, about Israel’s war on children, about the horrific injuries he witnessed and operating on patients without adequate fuel, water, food, electricity and medical supplies (including analgesia and at times anaesthetic and consumables) due to the Israeli blockade. He speaks at the City University at a meeting organised by the Palestine Student Society on Friday 26th January 2024.
