AS121 - Made in France guest Vincent Peirani - Bireli Lagrène

Hey guys, this is the last video of the serie with the great Vincent Peirani on accordion. We’e playing « Made in France », a waltz composed by Biréli Lagrène in 1999, and recorded on a fantastic album with Sylvain Luc called « Duet ». Vincent knee the tune already because he’s playing it in a new project as a duet with Yamandu Costa, wonderful guitar player from Brazil. I don’t think they have already recorded but some live concert can be found on YouTube. I’m playing a Dupont Vieille Reserve (#13), strung with Argentine strings, and a Dunlop cortex pick. The sound is captured by both a Neumann TLM 103 and a bluebird. The sound wasn’t too balanced at first, so I’d like to thank my friend Gustav Lundgren who did the mix on this one. Hopefully I’ll get his skills to be able to offer better mixing in those videos.
