H.H. Shri Mataji first celebrated the Shalivahana New Year in Australia during the first Shri Ganesha Puja held at Burwood Ashram in Sydney on 4th of April 1981. We had the privilege of celebrating that event again during Shri Mataji’s Australian visit at Burwood Ashram in the same room) on 31st March 2006. We returned to Shri Mataji’s home April 2nd 2022 to the same room, to make the auspicious offerings, the sing the Holy praises of the Goddess and to give thanks once again to Shri Mataji for all Her endless grace and blessings. Shri Mataji belongs to the Shalivahana royal dynasty – who were her Padwa is The New Year for the Protectors of The Kundalini energy & The Seven Chakras
