Advancing treatments for rare eye diseases: The Restore Vision Project

Join us as Prof. Thomas Ritter from the University of Galway and Prof. Giulio Ferrari from Ospedale di San Raffaele delve into Restore Vision’s pioneering approach to developing and testing new treatments for seven rare eye diseases (REDs). Restore Vision is an international research collaboration funded by the European Commission who joins 10 European partners from 9 EU countries. Between 2023-2027, the team will explore new treatments by repurposing existing generic drugs, developing new therapeutic compounds, and conducting pioneering clinical trials to ensure their safety and effectiveness.
