Summa Technologiae is Stanislaw Lem’s (1921-2006) work which causes an enormous impression by its deep content and solid approach to the subject. This book shows addictive and fluent narration immersed in an ocean of erudition and the writers recognisable sense of humour. It is serious, idealistic and deeply philosophical. We can conclude that the book is timeless from the perspective of the decades which separate us from the first edition. Many of its ideas manifest themselves in today’s reality, but we ha
