Distray - Tear of Mind

Distray began activities in 1998 with vocalist Masa, guitarist Ruiza and drummer Takuma, they were joined by another guitarist Izumi, from the band BURST and future member of Madeth gray’ll and bassist Toshiyuki (future Radifia and Agito). After the end of Distray Masa, Ruiza and Takuma formed LAYBIAL, when it just seems that Masa abandoned music. Ruiza and Takuma followed in Kisaki’s Syndrome. Ruiza later would form D with Asagi the singer from Syndrome, and enjoys a successful career. Distray’s career was short, they released the first demo “gene of “D““ in December 1998 and the followed up launch single “Kagami no naka xxx“ and “Fare Well“ in June 1999 and ended with the cassette “Period“ in July. Their sound is very characteristic of the Visual Rock era, with a marked Basslines and also packed with beautiful melodies for guitar. - uploaded via
