Rishi Sunak ’shares concern’ on high number of Gaza casualties ahead of ceasefire vote

Stephen Flynn, the SNP’s Westminster leader talks about Israel-Gaza and says 60% of the buildings in Gaza are damaged or destroyed and 1.4 million people are currently sheltering in Rafah “awaiting an imminent Israeli onslaught“. He asked Rishi Sunak: “Surely the prime minister must accept that that does not amount to self-defence?“ The prime minister responds saying he “shares the concern of many members about the high rate of civilian casualties“ and calls for an “immediate humanitarian pause“.
