Nothing False About These Teeth (1928)

Full titles read: “Nothing false about these teeth! Spike Hardy... noted aerial daredevil... risks life in “most-amazing-of-all“ flying “stunts“... so far.“ Hollywood, California, United States of America. C/U of Spike Hardy crouching on the ground and testing a leather strap that is tied to the axis between two aeroplane wheels; he bites on it a few times. M/S of the biplane, with Spike in the front seat and another man behind; the plane starts off. Air to air L/S of the plane - now Spike is hanging from the axis between the plane wheels; he takes his hands away and hangs there by his teeth! He opens and closes his legs a few times (show off). Brief L/S of the plane taking off from behind; L/S of Spike dangling; M/S of Spike showing us the leather strap on the ground (these shots seem to be out of sequence). L/S from the ground of Spike hanging from the plane by his teeth. Note: Spike does not wear a parachute for the stunt - the sign of a true daredevil! Cuts exist - see separate record.
