Quadsuit Jointed Arm Stilts - Elastic vs No Elastic

So I’ve had a couple people suggest putting springs in the back of the stilts to make the legs pop up more. I don’t have springs, or the time or money to go out and get some so I though I would try using elastic. I REALLY like the effect. I think it is a total improvement. This video is just a comparison to show what a difference it makes. The right leg has the elastic, the left does not.
