This week is in memory of the Warsaw Pact invasion in Prague which started on . Unfortunately the wordings Moscow used back then, explaining the invasion, resemble dangerously the wordings Moscow uses up to this date in their explanation on why they invaded Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Maybe that’s why there has been a stronger and more emotive connection to the events of the last year and half from some of my pals and acquaintances in Czechia.
