Patrick Leahy, who is the longest serving US senator, is taken to hospital

Democrat Patrick Leahy, who is the longest serving US senator, has just returned home after being rushed to hospital earlier in the day after reporting feeling unwell while in his office on Congress. The 80-year-old was just sworn in to oversee the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.
