Celil (pronounced Ja-leel) graced our shop with five incredible performances on five separate classical guitars in early March of 2016. A wonderfully gentle man, supremely talented, very sure of his ability, he played effortlessly. It was an absolute pleasure to have him here with us at Savage Classical Guitar.
About Celil Refik Kaya : Celil began his interest in classical guitar at the age of six with the guidance of his father, Dr. Mehmet Refik Kaya ... Celil Refik Kaya is an artist of exemplary talent having performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls and the festivals. He received a full scholarship from Mannes College the New School for Music (Master of Music) in New York City and the University of Texas (Doctoral of Musical Arts)
